I’m here to save the day! There’s nothing more frustrating than having issues with Roblox Not Working, especially if it begins freezing. After doing some research, and troubleshooting it for a good 30 minutes or so(I could not find any solution that worked), I figured there was no way but to call Roblox and speak to a representative. The best thing about Roblox is that their customer service is always on point, and they are very understanding.
That didn’t make it any less frustrating though. It’s very hard to have something like this problem (especially during games) because you feel like you’re the only one who has this problem. However, shortly after calling them, I received several emails from other players who had the same issue I did.
Check Your Internet Connection
The first thing you need to do when you’re having issues playing now gg Roblox is make sure your internet connection isn’t the problem. If you’re connected to Wi-Fi, try connecting via an Ethernet cable instead. If you are connected via cable, try switching to Wi-Fi instead (which should be faster). Also, try restarting your router or modem by unplugging it for about 10 seconds before plugging it back in. This will reset it and hopefully fix any issue with a bad connection that might be causing lag or disconnection issues with your device(s).
Roblox isn’t online
If your computer is connected to the internet, but the Roblox website is still not loading. Then you’ll need to check whether or not the site itself is offline. Typically, this will be announced on social media by Roblox staff or other users. If it’s down for everyone and there’s no announcement on Twitter or Facebook. Then it’s possible that the site has been hacked and needs to be taken down for maintenance.
Your firewall is blocking connections
Some firewalls can block connections to third-party sites like Roblox. Check your firewall settings if you’re having trouble connecting to Roblox and make sure that connections are allowed from this site.
Your antivirus software may be preventing access
Antivirus programs sometimes block access to websites if they suspect that something malicious might be going on. This can include accessing an external website from within an application like Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. If you have any antivirus software installed on your computer, make sure that it’s not blocking access to Roblox. You may need to add an exception for the site so that your antivirus software doesn’t block access. For more information, see our article on how to unblock websites.
Sometimes, your game might not be functioning properly due to server-side issues. This could be due to a number of reasons such as overloaded servers or some technical glitch that needs fixing by the developers. If this happens often, we recommend contacting customer support so they can investigate the issue further.
In order for you to play Roblox games online with other players around the world, you need good internet connection speed along with a stable WiFi connection at home or the office. If you are experiencing frequent disconnections while playing Roblox games online then it may be time for a new router or modem upgrade!
Another common reason why you might be experiencing Roblox connection issues is that your browser is not compatible with the game. Most of the time, this happens when you are using an outdated version of your web browser. If this is the case, then make sure that you update it to its latest version before playing Roblox games online again.
